MISSION STATEMENT

It is RHJ Medical Center's mission to provide a respectful, therapeutic and safe environment that will assist and encourage the opiate-dependent individual to stabilize functioning so that they are able to attain a more positive lifestyle.

VISION STATEMENT

Believing that addiction is a disease, RHJ Medical Center intends to medically treat this disease using pharmacological therapy and counseling. Our specific clientele will be the opiate-addicted individual who is at a point in their lives to seek treatment and attempt to change or improve their quality of life. We recognize the complexity of working with these addicted individuals and therefore provide care in medical, psychological, sociological, economical and spiritual areas of treatment. All treatment at RHJ will be conducted in an environment that promotes positive encouragement and dignity to all.

We are committed to meeting the expectations of the staff, clients, and the community. We believe that Methadone Maintenance is a valid medical treatment and is needed to assist the opiate-addicted individual and treatment should be available to provide support, education, counseling and resources when those individuals seek help.

Methadone treatment provides a service to the community by reducing crime, medical treatment and emergency visits, and public assistance utilization. This treatment also assists the reduction of spreading communicable diseases by the education and encouraged changes in the addicted individual's behavior.

We are a for-profit organization that believes an important component of client treatment is that of financial responsibility. Our belief is that clients who are financially responsible for our services take treatment more seriously and seem to achieve a more positive treatment experience.
